Serving Children Aged 6 Weeks to 12 Years From 7AM to 6PM
From the infant room to fifth grade, Discovery grows with your child.
Our teachers build secure, consistent relationships with each baby from day one. A child who feels safe with their caregiver is a child who can learn. We track each baby's development across eight domains aligned to the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards and share real observations with families every month.
What we are working on:
Young toddlers are explorers, and our classroom is built for it. We provide a structured, language-rich environment where every investigation is encouraged and every attempt is met with patience and support.
What we are working on:
Two-year-olds are developing fast and know it. We channel that energy into purposeful play: dramatic scenarios, simple counting games, art exploration, and cooperative activities that build the foundation for everything ahead.
What we are working on:
We track phonological awareness, letter recognition, mathematical thinking, executive function, and emotional regulation. When a child is ready to move ahead, they move to the next challenge immediately. The goal is not to meet the standard. It is to exceed it.
What we are working on:
Andy Salzmann leads a program that blends structured homework support with active, purposeful activities designed to build confidence, teamwork, and physical development. Discovery operates its own 16-passenger bus, currently serving Grandview Elementary, Morrisville Intermediate, and Makefield Elementary.
What we are working on:
Every week includes two swim days, bowling or roller skating, a movie, park days for sports and fishing, and at least one off-site attraction. Every camper receives a t-shirt, water bottle, and drawstring backpack at enrollment. Andy designs each week so there is always something to look forward to.
What we are working on:
At 40 children, every educator knows every child's name, temperament, and what they were working on last week. That level of genuine knowledge is not possible at 80 spots or 150. It was a deliberate choice.
Jim and Susan Mobile are career educators with 20 or more years of classroom experience each. Maria Salzmann holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a Special Education subspecialty. This is not "our experienced team." These are named people with documented backgrounds.
Every child is assessed seasonally across eight developmental domains aligned to the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards. Families receive specific skills, observed dates, and classroom examples at monthly conferences.
When a child is secure on all skills for their stage, the next stage's milestones are introduced immediately. The goal is not to meet the milestone. It is to exceed it.
Discovery accepts Bucks County ELRC subsidized childcare through Region 23. Every child, regardless of payment type, receives the same educators, the same curriculum, and the same milestone tracking.
Discovery is actively building toward Pennsylvania's highest Keystone STARS quality designation. Our practices are externally verified, not self-reported.
We'd love to learn more about your family and how we can support your child's early education journey. Pick a time that works best for you.

The intro call is 10 minutes with Maria. A real conversation about your child, your schedule, and whether Discovery is the right fit.
Every child arrives with a temperament, a preference, a pace. We build our care around who your child already is, not a program they have to fit into.
We tell you the truth about what we observed today, where your child is in their development, and anything that concerns us. You deserve a partner, not a cheerleader.
We are actively working toward Pennsylvania's highest Keystone STARS quality designation. Meeting state standards is a floor, not a ceiling.
