Discovery Cares is a family-owned preschool and daycare in Morrisville, PA where formally trained educators track every child's development, build stretch goals into every age group, and refuse to let any child coast. 40 spots. By design.

Family-owned and operated
By design, not by default
One home for the whole childhood
Pennsylvania quality designation
From the first weeks of life through fifth grade, Discovery builds on each child's development with formally designed programming at every stage.
The infant room is where secure attachment begins. Our educators build consistent, trusting relationships from day one and track each baby's development across eight domains aligned to the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards.
Young toddlers are explorers, and our classroom is built for it. A structured, language-rich environment where every attempt is encouraged and every milestone is documented.
Two-year-olds are developing fast and know it. We channel that energy into purposeful play that builds vocabulary, early math foundations, and the social skills that come next.
This is where kindergarten readiness becomes a documented outcome, not a hope. Phonological awareness, number sense, executive function, and school readiness are tracked, stretched, and exceeded.
School does not stop at 3 PM. Andy Salzmann leads structured homework support and active, purposeful activities, with transportation from Grandview, Morrisville Intermediate, and Makefield Elementary.
A full summer of real experiences. Swimming twice a week, bowling, skating, field trips, and park days. Every enrolled camper receives a t-shirt, water bottle, and drawstring backpack.
Discovery is owned and actively staffed by a sibling pair, a husband, and their parents. Every owner has a formal education background. Every owner walks through the door every morning.
At 40 children, every educator knows every child's name, temperament, developmental stage, and what they were working on last week. That level of knowledge is not possible at 80 spots. It is not possible at 150.
Jim and Susan Mobile each bring over 20 years of professional classroom teaching experience. Director Maria Salzmann holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a Special Education subspecialty. This educator-to-child depth of formal training is uncommon in a center of this size.
Every child is assessed seasonally across 8 developmental domains aligned to the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards. When a child masters their current stage, the next challenge is introduced immediately. The goal is to exceed milestones, not meet them.
Discovery participates in Pennsylvania's Keystone STARS quality rating system through ELRC Region 23 and is actively working toward STAR 3 and 4. External verification of what we already do, because our families deserve proof, not promises.
"Discovery blends academics, play, and social learning in a warm, personal environment. In just a few months, our once-shy child became more confident, social, and eager to connect with others."

Preschool parent
"After years of instability at another center, moving to Discovery brought the consistency and genuine care we had been hoping for. The teachers truly care, and the family events go above and beyond what we expected."

Toddler parent
"Discovery creates a genuine family environment where children and parents feel truly supported. The patience and partnership through every transition has been something we did not know to look for until we found it."

A real conversation about your child, your schedule, and whether Discovery is the right fit. It is not a sales call. Most families leave with their questions answered and a clear sense of where things stand.

Every child arrives with a temperament, a preference, and a pace. We build our care around who your child already is, not a program they have to fit into.
We tell you the truth. About what we observed today, about where your child is in their development, and about anything that concerns us. You deserve a partner, not a cheerleader.
We are actively building toward Pennsylvania's highest Keystone STARS quality designation, because meeting state standards is a floor, not a ceiling. Our families deserve externally verified quality, not self-reported marketing.
Through Bucks County ELRC Region 23, qualified families can access subsidized childcare at Discovery. Every child in this building receives the same educators, the same curriculum, the same milestone tracking, and the same stretch goals regardless of how the bill is paid.
